Bio

Ian has 34 years experience in the glass industry, going through a four year apprenticeship as a glazier in Perth, Western Australia. Within the glass industry, Ian has had numerous roles from glazier, branch manager, sales representative, glazing supervisor, state sales manager to a national sales manager role with a national glass replacement company.

In 1999 purchased the majority shareholding in Unity Glass Pty Ltd which was formed to service glass replacement clients in the Queensland marketplace.

Ian has been actively involved with the Glass and Aluminium Association of Queensland taking on the role as Chairperson for the Glass Installers subcommittee for a period and in August 2008 became President to be a voice for the benefit of the glass replacement members.

An opportunity arose to become involved with Network Glaziers Pty Ltd and an electronic platform for the benefit of clients and suppliers to provide a more efficient and economical way of doing business.

Ian has 2 children from previous marriages and is married to Sharon who has a daughter and granddaughter , great to be grandparents.
